The park is home to a Public Art and Design project by artist Cheryl Foster, who created a multi-piece artwork with panels located in the park’s computer room and the lobby of the community center. The art takes the form of a series of tableaux that illustrated such themes as education, family values, diversity, sharing, learning, parents teaching and sharing with children, and strong male presence. The paintings are displayed above eye level and appear to float on the walls.
